I have contacted support at Musopia and after brief message passing on to tech support Iv had no reply in over  3 weeks. Very poor . Old app was much better.

@Delta777 which email did you use to contact Musopia? Did you get a ticket number for your complaint? If so, please private message me and I'll take this up to help you.

Has this gone anywhere? I setup a metronome on a separate device to confirm it wasn’t me and after around 30 seconds it was over a beat out.

I reported the same issue on September 1. I got a response, but it was a fairly generic “thank you for your feedback” message and then no follow up.

If anyone has an issue please contact Musopia - they are the 3rd party app development company who designed and built the app for and with Justin ... [email protected] in the first instance.
If you do not get a speedy response but get a ticket number please pass it on to me or lievenDV to follow up.

After close2u chased them up I got a reply stating there were no issues  :-\
However I got a further reply stating that " it might be a player design "problem" " . And they were looking into it but no further info .
I replied with
" there seems to be a basic issue with the scrolling on many songs  , it jumps a bit at the end of a bar causing it to look "laggy" The bar underneath also looks laggy. The beat seems constant but the visuals sometimes arnt smooth and so look out of  sync. I have played the same songs on your 4 chords app and get perfect scores and the visuals there are in time and smooth when scrolling up the screen.
It is a shame as it is great to play along with a band and vocals but the visuals ruin it for me"
but there has been no follow up.
If there is not a resolution soon I will have to seek a refund and go with 4chords

I have not noticed this at all playing on iOS. Is it affecting any other people on Android?

Yes, I'm seeing the same thing that Delta7 described when using the app on my Android phone.

I posted this feedback to Musopia via the app -

"Regarding the app not keeping consistent time - I checked "Have you ever seen the rain" against a Boss metronome. If the song is played at full tempo it seems to keep time with the metronome. If I slow the song tempo and the metronome down to 93, by the end of the song the app is more than one full beat ahead of the metronome."

I received a response from Musopia on this and a few other song questions that I had sent them. Their response:

Have You Ever Seen the Rain (tempo issue)
The tempo is in fact slightly variable throughout the song. That's why it doesn't match the metronome click.

Thanks for the responses Musopia - they're very much appreciated!
