moving to new tablet
« on: August 09, 2021, 05:04:02 am »
I got a new tablet. How do I move the app from my old tablet to the new one. I installed it on the new tablet but don't see a way to log in. I still have 10 months left on my subscription.

Hi petschow, welcome to the forum.

Do the old and the new tablet use the same operating system? If yes, you should not have any issues. Though it may be worth contacting either Natalie at customer services or Paula at Musopia.

Open the app on the new device, click on the general tab and try “restore purchases”

Yes it's the same operating system.

I don't think there is a general tab but I'll take a look.

There certainly is a general tab in the song app unless you are using the newer version which I’m not as its not available in the uk yet. So I can’t comment on the new app if that’s what you have.

I was going to post in the thread on the new app but just a few things I don't like are the fonts for the songs are way too small. Very hard to read. Instead of having a large icon next to the song title how about shrinking that to make the title larger. The fonts for the Collections are also too small. The songs are much harder to play along too as a beginner. Many songs I could play before now have barre chords like Bm.
