Song - California Stars tuning
« on: July 18, 2021, 01:12:10 pm »
I've been learning Wilco's California Stars and while I can play alright, the chords just don't sound right when I try playing with the original recording. Not sure if it's the tuning. It's just a G, C, D chord progression and I've tried with a capo, down tuning my guitar but then it just sounds off.

Has anyone here learned this song and nailed the sound?

Yes! One of the first tunes I actually liked the sound of me playing... Capo 2, standard tuning worked for me.
