Thank you Richard.

Just watched the video and it makes more sense about where the product is at the moment and why and more importantly where it is going. Having seen it in action from the demo, I'll be taking out a yearly sub.
So I would recommend folk watch this and see what they think.

Cheers

Toby

Exactly what Toby said - I watched the video, think it’s a great product that will only get better, and I just bought an annual subscription.

@ Toby
@ Mari

Thanks so much for relaying that - I have passed it on to Justin as I'm sure he'd be happy to know that his video had a positive impact on at least some people! :)

Yes, that does seem the intention as the Tabs are embedded in with the song lessons, so where under a song lesson you have the menus for Notes, Chords, Notepad, Practice, there is now a new one that says Tab and the Tab is within there.  I don't think they are designed to replace the lesson, but the lack of scrolling or page turn is a pain if trying to follow the lesson at the time.

Yes, You could do a screen shot if you wanted, nothing to prevent it as such.

Except, I would hazard a guess, it must be an infringement of copyright!

Just taken out a year's subscription. Yes, it's going to be a pain trawling through for the tabbed songs but it's a good price I think from the alternatives I've seen.

Until Justin's support index them can someone keep a spreadsheet/list of ones they've found? To share on the forum? Interesting to see where we'd get to before support provide the index!

I just found Neil Young's Old Man!
What have you found?

Good idea - though this is now a top priority for the development team and should be in place within the week.

A bug I've found on my tablet when clicking the tab button it takes you to the
discussion at the botton of the page instead of tap page.
Doesn't do it on all of them though.
On Layla the first lesson page takes me to the discussion but the other two lessons
take me to the tab pages.

This doesn't happen on my laptop. I'll check my desktop when I get to work.

I guess this means there will be no more song books in the future? It seems a like a good idea. It is a shame there is no print option, but I understand why. I probably print off too much anyway, then can’t find what I have printed. Reading chord / lyric sheets on screen is probably OK, but I think reading full tabs on screen may be hard.  Anyway, I will probably give it a go while there is the introductory offer.

Actually, we have a new songbook coming very soon!

Looks like there are pre-sales already but I have not approved the final proof yet - but it's all written: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Justinguitar-Easy-Guitar-Songbook/dp/1540060209

HL are keen for me to do though I'm more keen on this online versions! :)

Ben is hitting making a current list for the FAQ page asap... within days.

But we were already rebuilding the all songs page so will be looking for the best way to filter the songs that have Full TAB, Chord/Lyric and Partial TAB (songs where a full tab would be overkill, like where just the riffs are BETTER than adding too much detail!).

We are also working on something amazing for the strumming, but that might be some time off yet... probably Q3 this year.

Glad y'all digging it - it's been something I wanted on the site since forever, but it's been very difficult to make it happen... now that's it's proving popular I plan on re-investing in it to make it incredible! :)

Thanks for the detailed answerS @close2u. I was kinda guessing a bunch of songs are just chords with no lead/riff/solos. I look forward to trying it out myself, just waiting until I can spend some proper time with it before purchasing (I really like to have some uninterrupted practice time when paying cash money for resources like these, to get the most out of it)

I have just purchased an annual subscription after trying for a week. Firstly I am happy to donate to Justin and trust the team to improve JG tabs so I am not concerned that things are not perfect.

As an improving (old) beginner I find it not so user friendly yet but I am sure scrolling, improving the song page to show where TABS are available and more will happen soon.

I am actually finding the challenge that this has brought really useful in improving my understanding and encouraging me on even more. The lessons as everyone agrees are absolutely fabulous, the TABS etc functionality really adds some value even to me.

I would encourage people to stick with it, suggest improvements and embrace it.

Well I've put my money where my mouth is and bought a year's worth.

First moans:

I don't care if there are more American users than British, I want to pay in pounds on a British site.

Why not PayPal?

Some feedback... I bought a month of the Tab because I was tired of going to the computer and rewinding. Some may want the whole song and all the parts, but I was just looking for what Justin sensei plays in the intro. I found I did not use the Tab I printed from screenshot and went back to the video and took notes.

I would pay for a word for word PDF transcript of the video.
