Hi! I'm in the beginners course and it would be really cool to find someone to practice with. I tried getting a family member to take the course with me but that didn't pan out. Looking to see if anyone near the Hartford area is on here. I'm at the level where I can play a few songs from tabs and can do a handful of chords from memory, but I have much to learn. P.S. I'm going to buy the Justin music theory lifetime access. Maybe we can do it together! :) -Nick

Hey Nick thought I'd just say hello and welcome. No where near you local wise but hey ho. PMT will be a good buy but don't worry too much about the theory to start with, just focus on the BC for now.

Hi Nick

I actually live in West Hartford and I'm working my way through the beginner course. I'm actually a weird type of beginner because I played for a couple of years as a teenager (never becoming that good) and then dropped it for decades. I have retirement coming up in a month or so, so I got a new Telecaster and started playing again. Turns out I can remember quite a bit but the muscle memory and rhythm still needs to come back.

I like rock, punk, indie, Americana/roots style county and folk.

I'm still finishing up work and have a daughter's college graduation to deal with in May, but after that I would be happy to see if we could get together to practice and maybe jam a little - if you don't mind hanging with an older guy who is still young at heart.

Let me know if you are interested.
