Two Minutes to Midnight

[Endureth]

Been a while since our last practice.  With vaccines rolling out soon I'm feeling optimistic.  We're gearing up for summer.  Added some Iron Maiden to the set so I'm STOKED.  My favorite bassist.

Here's our first time playing 2 Minutes to Midnight tonight.

Not a huge Maiden fan, Endureth, but this is one of my favourites. Most enjoyable to watch you guys getting into it.

Hey John,
Was astonished while watching you playing Maiden by right hand fingers Mine would have been a bloody mess after 15 minutes . I preferer a pick with rock stuff to nave a more clear attack.

Roman, Iron Maiden's bassist is a finger player so I wanted to stay true.  And I do it with three plucking fingers, where he only uses two so he's nuts!!!  I boiled my strings the night before this practice also in an attempt to brighten the sound a little.

The car, we're an actual garage band now!

I boil the strings because bass strings are upwards of 25USD and I wanna cut costs.  The boiling releases all the grime packed in them from my fingers.  I can definitely tell the difference in both my ears and wallet.
