Duly had an online hook up with JG and had a very useful hour of help. Perhaps the most helpful aspect was the feedback he gave me on my playing. This was really worthwhile. It had startled me when he suddenly sprung it on me that he wanted me to play stuff to him. Stressful or what?  ;)
He focused on the tension in my playing which should have been pretty obvious but I hadn't before taken any steps to actually consciously loosen up and focus on relaxing.

Gladly. I’ll get on it today.
Edit: yesterday a fail I’m afraid
Locked my MacBook and can’t log in. I’ll get on the write up ASAP.
P.S. anybody know anything about incorrect download messing up login on MacBook? I’ll post in the a more appropriate forum about the problem.
