Don McLean offers up some Acoustic Guitar tips and tricks
« on: October 31, 2020, 07:17:56 am »
Stumbled upon this burning some midnight oil.
Probably a bit advanced for beginners like myself but
if you have a 1/2 hr its worth listening to the legendary singer songwriter
explain various aspects of playing guitar. Now if we could only afford
a $8000 Martin D45 like his.

That was an interesting video, it gives an insight into how a pro approaches things. I’ve always enjoyed his songs and guitar playing. Thanks for posting it.
He could probably make an $80 guitar sound good!
BC (classic) completed, now on Intermediate Course, Folk Fingerstyle and Blues modules. Pickin’ an’ lickin’.....😎

Very interesting, made me remember about different strumming positions about the soundhole and how important it is to use them Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely fabulous.  What a lovely rapport he has with the audience.

My biggest takeaway ... how he was wearing his fingerpicks.  I'm off to try that.  And to reveal my ignorance ... I was wearing mine the other way around  :o

Reckon I need to get myself a thumb pick as well.

And such beautiful songs.

Thanks for sharing that, woodsy.
