Jam Buddies in Maine
« on: September 23, 2020, 12:12:07 am »
Hi,

I am in OOB, work in South Portland.  Looking for beginner guitar players to play with.
I need some motivation to learn a song all the way through.  I can host if need be. Can social distance, wear a mask,  and keep the windows open.  I have a beach view which aint bad.  Can meet up for a beer or coffee first and discuss.   Cheers
 Some ideas from Justin

Check out Maine Craigslist in the community section under Musicians.
Maybe put in a ad for jam buddy in that section. Lots of music in your area.
Too much distance between us, I'm almost 2 hrs north.

Unfortunately, I am also too distant, and know at least half a dozen local guitar players (three from the same family) with whom I could jam if I were going out to socialize at all these days.

There will be plenty of guitarists local to you. It's just a matter of finding them and finding ways of covid-safe jamming. Best of luck.

Good Morning, I will be moving to your area next year by this time. Looking for a place out by the Casco/Portland area. Would love to meet up then if you are still looking, new player here myself.
