Batwoman, aka Mrs B aka Maggie has been an integral part of the virtual fabric of our community for several years. Ever friendly, helpful and encouraging, Maggie has brought a positive energy and a warm light to many people's lives. Despite suffering setbacks of enforced time away from progressing on guitar and playing her beloved hand-built acoustic 'Cedar' she has continued to grow and learn musically - dabbling in other instruments, percussion, recording techniques etc. Maggie has also contributed vocals to several forum collaborations over the last few years too.
I'm sure that all who have come to know batwoman will be thrilled with this month's Forum Award. Congratulations Maggie, you're a gem.

Maggies a dead set Aussie legend. I doubt there'd be member who Maggie hasn't made feel welcome with one of her warm cyber hugs. And play the guitar she can!

Congrats Maggie! I love how you put yourself outside your comfort zone and nail it, and your love for fine handmade acoustics. But you're a genuine gem of a person Maggie, so glad you're here. .

Wow!!! it’s about time, no kidding if anyone deserved this sort of acknowledgement you do! Been through thick and thin, been there for anyone who needed encouragement and you were there for me personally when I was in need. I can’t begin to thank you enough for what you have done in terms of support for others never mind your contributions to the wonderful music that’s been presented to us all! Oh my goodness me. Surprised, disbelieving, thrilled, disbelieving, smiling, disbelieving, puzzled, disbelieving, happy tears, heart touched tears ... the list goes on as I digest this gift and the words that each of you have written.

I'm bemused to find myself here in this thread, breathing the air of the people who've preceded me. I'm not going to diminish or devalue this wonderful gift by asking 'Why me?' as I think about the Forum Community Award recipients before me; people of great talent, brain breaking knowledge, highly polished skills, artful playing, vast expertise and experience. Then me.

What I am going to say is THANKYOU for this beautiful gift.

This forum is indeed a very special place.
