when playing the x33211 you are playing a slash chord

F/C

as C is the bass note.

I'm confused, Richard. I would have said F/C. If I am reading the fingering correctly the notes are xCFACF so with the 6 string muted/not played the lowest note is a C?

Haha Glad you got Richard to sort that David. I’ve just spent 20 minutes looking up chord charts and neck diagrams trying to figure it out!!😂
