New Guitar - Replace Strings?

Hello and welcome to the forum.

you need - and have been receiving from our great members - some useful tips.

Noone slackens off and detunes their guitar every two days.
I've never heard such a silly advice.
The only time / reason is for long-term storage or transport and then accompanied by some suitable truss rod adjustment.

All you need to do is properly put on a new set of strings, stretch them, tune up, leave it, check fine tuning next time you play.
Once or twice (max) a year a small dab of oil on the fretboard. No more.
Perhaps a dry cloth to dust it now and again.
