we'll be okay- imaginary future chords

would someone willing to do a tutorial for me on this one? I'm wanting to learn how to play this for my anniversary with my bf. this is a song that we've listened to since we started dating.

He's taking a C chord adding his pinky to the e sting 3rd fret (G note)
Slide that chord shape up to the 10th fret. That a G chord. Slide down to the
5th fret. Thats a D chord. Then slide down to the C chord

If that is to addvanced for you can just play a open G, open D, open C.
This will sound jusg fine. It one of those songs where the words are more
important than the music.

Oh, that's a song. I was thinking this would be an exercise in thinking up the chords of the future. Maybe Elon Musk was building a new musical instrument or something. Phew, that was a close one.

I’d never heard of this song or the artist. Have just looked it up and listened on Spotify and it’s a lovely song. It never ceases to amaze me how much music there is out there that you’ve never heard of until someone gives you a pointer. Thanks for that.

Also thank you stitch for the chord tutorial, didn’t know any of that.
