I love it Maggie. Excellent all the way around!

Thankyou Tosh for your kindness and comments. I feel less embarrassed now after reading the comments from the generous folk in this community.

Beautiful rendition batwoman. Great work on the guitar - real passion in the vocals. Really nice recording - very clear.

Hi Maggie,
I listened to this when you uploaded it, but never commented.
It's always been a favourite of mine and it's lovely to hear you do it justice.
Good to see you back in the driving seat- Keep on truckin'  ;)

Well after the intro comments and self deprivation after all you have said to me about my singing, well to coin a phrase from an old wrinkly scott .................

Wake up, Maggie, I think I got something to say to you..................and that was great.
What a wonderful come back and so good to here you playing again. Yes one could argue the tempo was down on the original but hey are we here to be metronomic copy cats or here to put our own feel and spin on things. You owned it and made it yours. Good to see you back in the saddle,

Cheers

Hey Toby, a double treat - your comments and a bit of the Scot to wake Maggie up.  It's wonderful to be playing again. I'm looking forward to posting a more finished, better quality recording Toby, just have to toughen my fingertips.

Hi Maggie,

I'm quite partial to some S&G - always liked this song.
I agree with Close - the slower delivery adds to the melancholy, which is wonderful thing.

I think you've done a great job.
The ending was rather abrupt though.

All the best.

Thanks very much Digger, I really appreciate your comment. Melancholy is what I was aiming for. Yep, I cut the ending off, will make that right when I do a better recording.
