This is well deserved!

Congrats stitch! And thank you Richard and Lieven for this proposal. I guess you two are also on the list for the community awards :)!

This was totally unexpected. Thank you Justin, Richard, Lieven and everyone who
keep this forum the best place to hang out with like minded guitar players on the internet.

Hey this is totally well deserved. Good on you stitch I love your posts. This place wouldn't be the same without you.

Keep up the great work, I'm sure to be asking a damn fool question about scales soon and yours is just the gruff no nonsense response I'm after.

I'm glad you've been recognised

Bravo. Well recognised

I've quietly read all your insights and explanations over my time here and am the richer for it.

Thanks so much, stitch

Well deserved stitch. You’ve given me a lot of helpful advice directly and indirectly over the couple of years that I’ve been on the JG forum. Thanks again.

Hmmm...I think this award is a bit premature.
I already gave him some vibes last week for trying to help me with 'The Blues Alphabet' and I'm still not able to do the Clapton solo he offered as inspiration  ::)
We should have waited another decade  ;)

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. It hasn't felt like 10 years.

Justin has done such a good thing with his website and has
created this place for everyone to learn, help and share.
I'm happy to hear that I've helped in some small way over the years.

Brian keep listening to that solo and it will work it way under your fingers.

I am late to this but I've just seen it sorry.  Congrats stitch.  I don't think that there would be many here who haven't had good advice and direction from stitch at least once.

Stitch, this is a well deserved accolade. And has been said our unsung hero.

Can't think of how many times you helped me out when I first joined the forum and started learning again.
I think your willingness to support us "newbies" and answer our sometimes dumb questions, was one of the things that got me through the BC and onwards.

If one thing stands out from all the tips and advice you have passed on, it was those darned yellow boxes and the relative position of intervals. Have not seen them appear in a while but those threads truly helped me see how the fretboard hangs together, scales, chord building the works. It took CAGED to a whole new visual level before I'd even got to CAGED!!

Thank you for your presence and friendship.

Cheers

Toby

Thanks again guys and gals. I think I have learnt as much or more helping you
in the last 10 years than I did in the previous 10 years. Music knowledge is
best when its shared.

Had my lesson with Justin yesterday.
He truely is remarkable and can pull thing out of you that you didn't even know
you knew.
It gave me a new perspective on the way I look at the fret board when practicing.

Really glad your award and the lesson has given you a new perspective and that Justin has shone a light on stuff you didn't know. Sounds like it's given you some new goals stitch.
