Add an exam at the end of each lesson
« on: January 30, 2020, 01:00:22 pm »
I don't mean a proper mandatory exam but more like a list of suggested skills and benchmarks that the students should master before moving on to the next lesson.

Exemple for Lesson 1:
* Minimum of 40 changes a minute between A and D chords
* Minimum 60% success on striking a perfect D chord 10 times in a row
* Capacity to play a 2-chord song for one minute with maximum 2 mistakes
* Etc.

* Not mandatory of course; entirely optional for the student
* Would help people (like me) who need more reassurance that they're on the right path
* Could basically be the practice routine but with benchmarks

Thanks for considering it!

The practice lesson of each section of the Beginner Course does have benchmarks to "self grade" yourself to decide that it's time to move on to the next lesson. For example, the practice lesson for Lesson One:

YOU’LL BE READY TO MOVE ON WHEN...

You’ve memorized A and D chords
You can get around 30 chord changes in one minute
You had a go at playing a song!
