Cant answer much on this as I don't have the app. Just comparing aa couple of the early stages there's very little difference.

Not in this order

App, st1 has
How to Play, A , D , E, Anchor changes , Strumming on beat 1, play along songs, 1 Min changes, Chord beat exercise.

Web learning is broken down more with vast amounts of info available from forum users.

Web has - Classic
How to play A ,D ,E , 1 Min changes , Chord practice, Chord sequences, play along songs

Web has - New
Chord perfect A,D , Anchor fingers, 1 min changes, play to songs

I don't  really know about the app but, I would think of it as an additional item to use in conjunction with the web learning. There are as you can see, very little difference between the two. I also know that songs change on the app.

Thats about as much info as I can give here, but either of you could have done this. The app has a 7 day trial available on downloading.

As for later stages, I have no idea sorry. !

OK - so these are too less arguments for me to spend 70 Euros a year or 10 Euros a month for this app...
