I love it
I just love it. I'm on stage 4.

Here's some advice I'd like to ask of other users:How do you, or have you been able to, memorize the songs without the app?
While I'm rocking the heck out, I realize that without the app, I couldn't play any of these songs. And I'm not sure how to begin the process of memorization. Will it just happen after playing a song a thousand time? Or has someone figured out a method?

It can be a combination of things but repetition will certainly help.

Better still is look the song up. You'll see 99% of the time verses have a set pattern so do choruses n bridges.

The app is made to simplify playing along so should be easy to remember when you break it into stages.

Well I’m quite the opposite and also on stage 4 and I’ve never used the app but use the songbooks instead and as libi says after much relpetition you can play along without the book. I use the term play along loosely in that I can remember and play the chords in the correct order.

I’m actually considering signing up for the app to try and improve consistency. As with most things guitar practice and repetition equals improvement.

The books show the song structure and breaks the song down into intro, verse, chorus and bridge.
Learn the four parts, repeat where necessary and you can play the song.
It is a much easier way to learn than with the app which just plays each bar in turn.
