Hey Max, that was a great performance, so assured and I was impressed at the confident way you dropped off to allow the crowd to clap for the final section.
That is a good setlist too.

So many forumites taking themselves out of the bedroom and doing it live - we are blessed to witness you all growing in stature as musicians and performers.

Great stuff Max! Nice confident performance with a lot of dynamics! Is this at a restaurant of some sort? I was going to criticize the crowd until they joined in with their hands. Good show! 😊

@Garfield: Mostly repetition to be honest! 
I usually play a song 3-5 times with the lyrics/chords in front of me. Then I try to get as far as possible without looking at them and repeat that process
Printing out the lyrics + chords and color-coding the chord progressions is also very helpful to me

Best case: When I'm working at a song I usually listen to the original a lot to the point where I can "listen to the song in my head" if that makes any sense

Hi Max,
Just got off the cruise ship and was thinking about you playing on one.... Sure would have been better than what I saw. Not to say they could not play, but the song selection was no up to snuff for me.

This sure was in the wheelhouse and is a nice look at your open mic performance! Great to see and hear you do some numbers in front of an audience. I thought it cool there was a lot of chatter going on and then you got the audience to focus on your performance. They joined in with you and that was great. Very indicative of connecting with your audience!
