Not mp3's, but a video

As requested then.

A headless rendition of nothing else matters.  with the solo in this time :)

tbh this is the first time I have really tried to play a song right through from start to finish.  Well yeah a few times but mostly I end up working on a section and then when UI am done I play a sort of shortened version that covers all the sections I was working on.  its a lot more difficult  and do over’s for major mistakes are a pain in the xx--xx :p think this was about 4th take, had to drop the ones with my missus screaming vulgarities at the poker opponents she was playing online on facebook :p
By the time I got to the solo my hands were really sweaty too :p  err what other excuse can I say ?? yeah I am hung over too hehe.

There are a few mistakes but I really couldn't be bothered to do another take by then, I can do a better job in sections and I could not find a nice distorted tone for the solo so I just made do with the one that offered me the most sustain.

I think if you were to play this live you probably wouldn't lay all the sections I did.  I think that the other guitarist would be playing some of those bits but those are kinda the main bits so you wanna do them all :p

AnywayI hope you like,.

oh yeah and coz I got no fingernails at all the picking sounds way quieter than the struming so I had to kinda try to strum gently as I dont have a footswitch volume control :D

Hey thanks ;)

Yeah that was on the Roland Cube 30X.  I used clean JC tone ( the clean channel ) with some chorus and delay for the clean parts. and switched it to one of the really crunchie emulations for the solo.  Think it was R Fier emulation ? with heaps of distortion and using the power squeezer to try and extend the sustain at the end of the solo.

ok i will do one of under the bridge and get the missus to film it so you can see whats going on .  but not tonight.

its comin up half ten here in queensland  and back to work tomorrow.  so will try and get it up my tomorrow night.

EDIT - OK I tried last night butjust couldn't play properly, bum notes everywhere, will get there eventually ;)
