Nice sounding guitar and vocal performance; relaxed and confident. Well done.

Great job all round Garfield. Not a big Oasis fan apart from Don’t Believe The Truth, which is a great album. I do like this song however and you do it justice with a great performance.  You DO look a bit down at the end though (sad face) even though you were suggesting otherwise with the outro lyrics  ;D

Really enjoyed that, Gareth. I'm thinking about what Maggie said about posture, and would be curious to see a second take with you standing, just to see how it affects the high notes. It sounds really good already. I'm just curious how much difference it makes.

Ha ha yeah I always look like that in these videos. No idea why. Just a miserable face I guess. I'm a happy person honest.

Really assured performance Garfield, good rhythm, nice sound from the guitar and well sung. I play this on a regular basis myself - living half the world away from where I am from - the lyrics have a kind of significance for me. I think if I ever got up the courage to do open mic - it would probably be one I would like to play too. Hope your open mic went well.

Another great performance!  I read where you said you were performing this. Open mic?  How did it go?

thanks pkboo glpguitar kontenda redrhodie hilts17 I dropped my phone last week and am still phoneless it's torture.

redrhodie perhaps I'll do a standing up one for you when I get a phone again, it is easier to sing standing up. I'm doing a bit more of that these days as I'm standing up at open mics - too nervous to sit.

Pam yes it went well sadly no footage. I went along by myself like a saddo, no phone no mates and my wife had to stay at home with the kids. This song went well - no mistakes. I screwed up the fancy bit on please please please let me get what I want but kept going, then I forgot the lyrics to have you ever seen the rain. I tried to keep going but blanked. I started again and got it right second time. People were complimentary and it was a good night. There are a lot of regulars at this open mic and quite a lot of people fluffed either vocals or guitar. Its not expected that it's a faultless performance. I'm hoping the more often I go the better I'll get at the performance side of things.  I'll have footage next time.

Congrats on another Open Mic, Gareth.  Quite sure the more you do it, the more comfortable you'll get and over time that will translate into better performances.  In my case increasing frequency would be good but isn't necessarily a practical, feasible option.
