3/4 size dreadnought or full size?
« on: November 06, 2019, 02:56:31 am »
So, I know Justin doesn’t recommend 3/4 size guitars.... But I’m like a little less than 5 ft and not ever gonna get taller. Would a full size dreadnought be comfortable enough to play or would 3/4 size be better? I’ve only got the choice of dreadnought guitars so other body shapes are out of the question. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum
The only way you'll know for sure is to play both and decde for yourself.
What's the reason for only dreds? Have you looked at sloped shoulder short scale.

Look at parlour, 00 and 000 sizes.

I agree with close2u, and I'm also curious about the "only dreadnought" restriction you mentioned. A parlour/00/000 makes more sense to me than a 3/4 sized dreadnought shape.

I bought a 000 bacause dreads weren't comfortable. 000 is Full size guitar, just smaller bodied.
