As always Brian - great lyrics. Your guitar playing has come on leaps and bounds - great rhythm and I liked the way you switched it up. Your performance is as ever very enjoyable. Nice work.

I'll say you did it again too! It's a nice imagery and up tempo pizza served hot with lots of melty charm. Good stuff.

Nice Brian,
I sure like originals and you did it well with this one. Found the rapid fire lyrics a bit too rapid fire and it sure was a contrast when they slowed down. But that is just personal preference I think. All in all a fine write and good play!

Keep rockin' just as you do....

I don't know how i missed this little gem but I did.    Brian this was thoroughly enjoyable, not just for me but the wife and kids loved it to.    I'm sorry, that's a lie, I don't have a wife or kids.    :(      Seriously though, this was lyrically brilliant and musically authentic.     I didn't really notice the revolving camera but i'm also very drunk.   I thought your performance was excellent.  You wrote a fine little ditty here my friend, a fine little ditty.
.
ps I'm not really drunk 8)

Hey Brian
Lyrics are brilliant. Playing is in a different dimension from when  you started. I really love these originals of yours.

Life I'm afraid, I'm very time poor. I had a night away for work the other day and managed to listen to these entries. I just hadn't had time at home. Hope you're keeping well you're doing very well with the guitar from what I can see.

Brian - I forget how long you've been at it ... about April 2018 if I recall correctly.
You have made so many improvements and continue to incorporate them in to your own songs - bravo.
You are developing a range of strumming (and now muting) techniques.
Good stuff.
Your tempo and rhythm sense are well developed.
As you progress and learn new chords, a little theory of what chords work well together and learn more songs to help hear and instinctively know how chords fit together, it'd be good to branch out and become more expansive in your own song writing / chord progressions.
With that you will hear new opportunities for melodic structure too and ... well ... there's so much goodness lying ahead so keep on keeping on.
:)

Ha! Could be taken in more ways than one, Richard  ;)

You are quite correct, of course.
... and I have not forgotten the detailed advise you left after my Skype session with Justin.
I trust much insight, goodness and creativity will sprout from those plated furrows  :)

Summer months and kids holidays mean less 'Brian-time' to sit, noodle and practice- I shouldn't complain!
I'll just thank you here though and give your special Thank you thread a miss, lest it go to your head.
Remember- you are just an Oompa Loompa  :P

or to quote Justin in Tammy's Lesson 6 (28min):

“We don’t really need many more songs that go Em G C and D. There’s, like, rather a lot in the universe now”

Sigh...  ::)

Hey man

Sorry for the late reply, been in writing mode and forgetting my responsibilities!

Dynamic changes between verses and chorus is great - like the little sus chord move at the end of the verse progression. I'd suggest maybe getting more busy in the chorus rather than less - bridge is distict too - so song form going great!

Fun lyric too - well done! :)

Sitting in a departure lounge waiting for a delayed flight to Geneva to go to a funeral- this put one big smile on my face 😀
Never ceases to amaze me how you take the time and effort to listen carefully and comment constructively on all the entries, Justin.
Didn't know that was called a sus chord 😉
Cheers
