J.U.S.T.I.N. Training Exercises - With Guitar or Without?

Hello!

I am currently going through the Intermediate Method book and DVDs, and I am wondering whether the J.U.S.T.I.N. Training Exercises (Chord Progression Recognition & Transcribing Solos into TAB) are meant to be done with the assistance of a guitar or not?

It's not really mentioned anywhere.

I see that it is actually explained clearly by Justin in the video equivalent of the lessons (Yes, you do use the guitar :) My bad.

Got carried away with the book without checking the online course.
