200% to 250% price hike
« on: May 02, 2019, 06:50:40 am »
The beginner's song course Is to rich for my blood now. As a part time only worker this increase, however you justify it is just plain ludicrous.

Perhaps you should consider making 2 of the app , beginner and intermediate then intermediate and advanced.

Such a shame.

Use the Beginner Song Course and the Video Lessons on the website.
They're free.

The apps are developed by a 3rd party and are not really under Justin's direct 'control'.

Can't argue with that. Lots of us never used the app. It wasn't around :)

That's part of the issue. Any complaints are going to come here, not to Musopia though.

I agree with Close and jdg, use the website it's free or by donation
and smartphone compatible.
Also $9.99 a month is a lot less than most web based sites cost.
And none are of the same quality.

A rise from 8.99 a month to 9.88 a month is not a 200% rise.

It's a 10% increase.

And with all Justin provides for free...well, I'm definitely not complaining.

I think it was $4.99 as a introductory offer when it first came out.
I could be wrong.
I think the main thing here is Justin has always kept the website free for
those who couldn't  afford lessons. That's over 12 years of his time for
free.
I guess no matter how much you do for people you can't please everyone.
