Relish Guitars
« on: April 17, 2019, 03:37:23 am »
Anyone played or seen one of these Swiss Guitars?
Seem like a pretty cool way to build a guitar. It even sounds great?

Man that's pretty trick, thanks for sharing Stitch. New to me.

Tones and settings sound really sweet but made me smile, as he swaps pups while the sustain rings out in seconds - took me months to pimp my Affinity !!!

Not sure about the look of this one but they do have some really nice looking models in their range. For those of a nervous disposition, sit before checking the prices but for how these puppies are built its no surprise.

Notice no prices for the Platinum Limited Edition range  ;D

Now if I could just convince the missus I need something different .........  8)

Very cool guitars for sure. I just checked their website and prices. Glad I was sitting down like Toby suggested. Thanks for sharing this.

I've seen people pay more for golf clubs and the spend $100+ every time they
take the clubs out to play.  ???
The cost of one of these babies is less than 2 years of golfing and it doesn't
cost you anything to play it. 8)
Anybody check out the price of a Fishing Boat and a fish finder lately.

It's all in how you look at things. Toby how much did you bike cost? How often
do you ride and what does the insurance cost a year?

Don't worry man I know exactly where you're coming from but for most folk, spending 5k+ on a guitar would be out of the question. But seeing the ingenuity of the design and the components they're are using, I can see its a reasonable price tag. Plus I'm sure they are not knocking these out by the boat load and you will always pay for exclusivity. They are really out there in their uniqueness.

Plus I thought this was a must have carry bag if you ever got one of these babies.

Call me picky but my only problem is the choice of names for each range. It would push me to go Platinum. With so much inventiveness in the guitars, Jane and Mary seem a bit lame to me but there could be  a valid reason for such monikers.

Still think they look and sound wonderful.

Now as to the bike Stitch, if it weren't for Brexit and all the uncertainties of our future here in France, there be a HD Softail Heritage Classic in the garage (from my dear Mum's legacy). It'll happen once the dust settles one way or the other.
On the other hand I could but 3 of the Relish 6k'er and that briefcase and still have a few euros left for strings and a few of your Ts. Everything is relative.

Cheers

Toby

Since I destroyed my back I had to give up the life on two wheels.

Then I quit smoking and a funny thing happened. There seemed to
be more money for guitars. ;D
When people ask how long ago I quit smoking I tell them 2 Gibson guitar ago.
I've actually bought 3 guitars, a mandolin and a key board since I quit smoking.
But whos counting.

As for the Relish guitar it would be cool to take one out for a test drive.
Maybe one of our Swedish members could go see one and do a video review.
Or better yet when was the last time you took your wife for a drive to Sweden?
You live a little closer than I do.

Swiss, not Swedish  ;)

I ride an old 125cc Vespa, visit the public golf course twice a year with my half-set of £25 clubs, and play an entry level Yamaha classical guitar.

Maybe I should just not take up smoking and treat myself to one of these?  :)
