Gave both a listen, Rolandson.

I was listening through my AI and mixing headphones,  so best quality playback. Listening this way I felt the vocal level was high relative to the guitar.

I found myself struggling to hear the guitar. What I heard sounded smooth.

My assumption is that you are aiming to catch the original Beatles vibe, rather than giving the songs your own flavour.

If so then I think you got closer on Girl than She Loves You. I am more basing that on the vocal delivery than guitar which I didn't here so well.

So I think a fair first go and maybe a little more practise to refine the vocal phrasing.

Thank you.
For me the guitar part is OK.
Need to find a different position for the microphone.
Vocals will get better when I have the lyrics in head.

Hey Rolandson! Good job in the guitar!

I've taken a look at your soundcloud page and listened to your covers of 'Mief' and 'I Am From Austria', really liked your vocals on those. Are you more comfortable when singing in German?

Mief ist ein Lied wo ich den Text komplett auswendig kann.
Ich habe kein Problem mit Englischen Texten.

Hello Rolandson. Great songs you choose to play.

Guitar sounds good here, nice and steady, your timing has improved a lot. A little bit hard to hear though as David already mentioned. Singing need some more work, maybe do a Beatles song in German, that has been done before I think  :)

I definitely need to place the microphone somewhere else.
There are Beatles songs in German but I am not a fan of that at all.
I will record it again and put more emotion into it.
I am glad that the guitar part is fine.
I really does get better.

Hi Rolandson,

The levels seem better in v2.
Girl - The vocal for me sounds like it may be slightly too low a key?
She loves You - sounded more comfortable. You give it a different vibe to the original during the verse.

Always good to hear the Beatles.

Agree with Digger, Rolandson,  better balance on levels in these recordings. Playing sounded pretty steady, clean smooth changes. I'm finding the vocals tricky to comment on as I keep hearing the Beatles in my head, both of these being among their songs I like. Well done on improving performance of these songs.

Thank you everybody.
I'm happy that the guitar playing is fine.
What I think is that the vocals are getting better with every song I record.
My goal is to play  every Beatles song I like from them. I guess that's over a hundred.

Right now I am practicing don't speak and my sweet loard from George Harrison.

Roland

Listened to both v2s and the playing is pretty solid, nice tone and timing but think you may need to experiment with the capo. As folks have said vocals seem a bit lower key than the guitar. Now that's an issue I frequently have as my range is very limited around A. What I did recently was record vocals only and ran that track through Riffstation. The original was in Em and I was singing in C (lower). So out with the capo to find a compromise. Its still work in progress but I'm getting closer to a match.

But overall great effort.

Cheers
