Man your song is really great. I woke up singing it, and it's ringing in my head since this morning. This is going to be a really great song.
For backing vocals vocals I pictured something like a softer voice, nearly whispering, repeating "one last embrace", but this is cool too  ;D. Anyway just wanted to tell how great your song is.
Cheers

Haha nice one Kev! thanks for chucking the backing vocal idea back to me  ;D the Mrs is at the pub, kids are on a sleepover soooo I had a fiddle and got a backing vocal over the 2nd chorus....and I liked it better than the chorus at that part of the song so I let it stand on its own and deleted the 2nd chorus  :o - you can have a listen using the link in the 5th post on page 1. Cheers for the idea I think it's improved the song.

Thanks Bird :)
Whoa that's freekin special. Loved your uniqueness I struggle to pigeon hole into a genre, you seem to have, as I;ve said before, your own style. But what ever its is I love it. The tones you hit are hypnotic and fully dovetailed with your vocals, And the lyrics always tell a special story. Pure magic.

Cheers

Cheers Toby! I’m not sure what style I’m playing either, it just evolved purely by accident  ;D

I can only repeat what others have said and say how very good a listen this is. I'll most definitely hit play a few times more over the coming days. My only regret is it took me so long to take a look but in my defence I have had the lurgy for the past few days and haven't wanted to go anywhere near a guitar or this site. :) ::)

Hey Steve,

SC just nexted me to the song, so I just let it run as I write replies.

It is simply WOW.  This version is the dogs danglers (hope that word choice deteats the politeness filter since the usual word doesn't)

You consistently write and produce cracking songs, but this may be a little bit extra special

Hey, just nexted me Dave Oldehead's cover of White Rabbit .... who needs iTunes when you have the greatest hits of JG Community  8)
