All the stuff that's been said before me .... yeah. I'm a fan Max and you never disappoint.  :)

One thing you might want to watch in the playback - look at the tension in your jaw and mouth. This affects tonal quality and makes projection harder. I think we're missing out on some of the beauty of your voice because of this.

We all have tension habits. Might be useful to find where you hold tension, and where it's become a habit. Then do something about it before it becomes chronic injury. I say this with the voice of experience.  :'(

Beautiful, Max. And I dig your studio. Just goes to show if you’ve got the goods you don’t need expensive equipment.  Outstanding performance.

@PilgrimPod, Fox Cunning, jono, Danni, birdland, close, Rossco, Darrell, Cagn, batwoman, oldhead:

Thank you so much, it means a lot to me!

@PilgrimPod:

If I'm not mistaken I'm seeing constant small improvements with each passing song
I have the feeling, too - glad I'm not the only one :)

@jono:
It takes some time, but Justin's module is pretty good! Start slowly and you'll get there :)

@birdland: Thank you! I usually choose songs that I can connect with in some way or another, here it was  'too many books / read me your favoirte line' and from there on I try to expand my 'connection to the song'. :)

@close: Definitely! Glad you're happy with my rendition :)

@Cagn: Thanks for the feedback on the last part :)

@Maggie: Thanks for the closer look, I'll keep an eye on it!

Great work Max. Not much to add beyond what has already been said but I thought it was great work. Really enjoyed it.

Damien Rice is right in your wheelhouse, and you drove this one home and put it to bed! Can't say enough good things about it. Great listen as always. :)

Nice performance Max. Lots of confidence and emotion complemented by solid playing and singing. Nice variation at the end with the change to strumming. Keep it up!

Hey Max,
I enjoyed this when you first posted it and meant to comment, but got distracted.
I just gave it another proper listen and it is even better than I had recalled.
Not only is the playing and singing faultless, it's a cool video as well.
Lots of emotion going on  :'(
If you can get any of that across at your open mic nights, you'll be away on a hack!  8)
