Ace Danni, you have a great voice and the strumming and chords changes have improved...very smooth now. Nice one.
On the blues “where to start”, I would agree with David re Me and Mr Johnson, also Fleetwood Mac by Fleetwood Mac  ;D and John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers - Bluesbreakers (aka Beano).

Danni, if you're interested in acoustic blues take a look at Daddystovepipe's channel on YouTube, there's a lot of really good stuff and tutorials for beginners up.
As regards artists/bands there are so many great ones it's difficult to single out any but if I must I would say the 3 Kings, BB, Albert and Freddie would be a good start and of course Robert Johnson.

Hey Danni,

Blues wimmin' you might like to listen to Sister Rosetta Sharpe and of course Billie Holiday, perhaps Nina Simone and I have an idea that Bessie Smith may appeal. I can't resist posting this of Sister Rosetta, hope it's not stealing from your limelight. Gawd I love this woman, what a trail blazer even though constrained by society and it's stereotypes and prejudice.  Sorry I'm starting to rant. Back to you sister.

Batwoman that is exactly the stuff I'm looking for!

What a boss!

The one thing I'm taking from this is that perhaps I need a Gibson

Thank you so much

Hi Danni,
Nice steady driving rhythm.  Smiling over your arrangement and vocals too. Great job and nice listen as well. You must be playing for the kids at bedtime? I bet they love it!

Keep up the rocking vibe!

Lbro... The kids couldn't give two hoots about the guitar haha! So far the guitar has been just for me, but my little one is right into the wiggles so perhaps I need to work on a few Danni versions of those

I've been in a guitar rut this week. Stage 5 I need to find a another song I'm keen to work on. I'm hoping after another week of just sticking to practicing the 12 bar blues in the various keys I'll be OK to move on.

Hah - then you must teach the little ones to dance to the song... Find one that "moves" em! A good old Rock-n-Roll number should do the trick!  ;)

Dance on!

Hey
Really nice performance here. We can hear the baby backing vocals, you need to teach them the lyrics haha. More seriously I liked your song, strumming is consistant, really nice blues song, I enjoyed listening to it. Now I want to learn songs like this too, so thank you  ;D

@DanniTSI3, I like it! This is your best offering to date. I listened all the way through. You left some nice spaces in there for a second guitar or harmonica. I almost ran into the other room and grabbed my gear. Crazy busy right now, but might give it a go later. Just a solid offering that stands on its own and is also worthy of accompaniment.
