2015 strings
« on: February 18, 2019, 06:20:21 pm »
Hello.
I've bought a 2015 squier strat that has never been used.
Is it better to change the strings anyway?

Thanks

It couldn't hurt.

If they're going on four years old, I'm surprised they aren't rusting.

If they are coated strings theh should be fine. So if they're not rusty and stay
in tune I'd use them until they need changing.

Yes, when you take the guitar in for a setup, the tech will change the strings.
