A couple of tracks
« on: January 11, 2019, 11:18:32 pm »
Hi all

A couple of songs played along to the original with a right cancel to remove some original guitar.
As of the 8th Jan I have been playing for three years.
A few glaring mistakes in both and I have skipped the beginning 1 minute of the Foo Fighters Walk as I think I need to use a pedal and a few seconds of the Zoo as it takes a bit of time to press record.
Sorry, I cant get the Soundcloud embedded  link to work so you will need to copy and paste.

What do you think

I think you're off to a good start!  Learning songs ya love is definitely the way to go.  For both of those songs, the snare is the part I'd lock in with too.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing these, Jono.

You sure are rocking hard and heavy with those two songs.  To me your tones and rhythm is solid, in the groove and I didn't hear those glaring mistakes you mentioned.  I was bouncing my foot and bobbing the head throughout both.

Look forward to more down the line.

Oh and the SoundCloud thing is a known bug on the site, so your embedded links worked just fine, one click and in.

Thanks for listening.
Now I can record at the touch of a button I have been doing lots of it. It is certainly interesting to listen back to what you have played.

Both tracks sound good to me, jono! As DP mentioned, nice rockin' stuff.

CT - I got a used Boss JS10 for Christmas. There are no special recording features just press record button record one or two inputs and whatever song is playing. No editing or anything like that.
It's ideal for me though as I don't have a fixed place to play.
