@Leo and Mike my Schlaff Crew buddies, pleased you enjoyed it lads. Can't beat some old rock n roll. Be good to hook up again on another collaboration.

Хорошего здоровья вам обоим

Hey Toby

I am really happy that you have released your original song, and it's a a really good music. I loved it. Lyrics are really great. And the mysterious atmosphere of the music fits them perfectly.

Don't be shy anymore you have done amazing job ;)

I don't know how I missed this. I must've gotten distracted.

Really cool song, Toby. Sounds like Johnny Cash and the Clash. Well written, played and sung. I hope the reaper doesn't come too soon. We need to hear more songs from you!

I'm a bit late to the party as well. Nice sentiment and a good rockin' tune. I would echo a lot of what has already been said, but the mysterious atmosphere really pops out for sure. Thanks for the nice Saturday morning listen.

Hey Kevin glad you liked it. You must have cranked the volume to get that mysterious atmosphere, wasn't sure what you meant, as I've been playing it fairly quietly.  Now I just pumped the volume and see the reverb adds that quality. Certainly not planned but a good outcome.  8)

What an accolade to be compared to Johnny Cash, you are too kind but I loved the Clash analogy. Heck what a thought Cash N Clash boy that would have been good. Plan to be around for a while yet  ;) I nearly added a outro comment of "Tell the Reaper he can kiss my "£$%, I'm heading for the freeway" but my vocals made it sound like the cheesiest cheese on the planet so I dropped it. But he can kiss it anyway!!   8)

This had a nice groove to it, I enjoyed giving it a listen.  It reminded me of the vibe from the song 'Convoy'back in the day.  Very nice song, I look forward to hearing more of your originals.

Hey Dog

What a connection that was, must have been something buried deep in my psyche maybe. Your comments took me back to another era with CB in the car, my handle was Freebird, although it never really took off in the UK !! So thanks for the memories. Breaker Breaker 19 whats your 20 - wtf did that all mean ?????

For the youngsters

Much prefer Vanishing Point, if we're talking old road movies.

Love the GnR Tribute

And this

A movie for all to watch !

Wasn't the intention though. Believe it or not I was trying to emulate some Iron Maiden power chord picking, that's prevalent in a number of their tracks and put my own spin on it.  For example

But hey glad you liked it.

Cheers

Toby

Good first original, Toby. And I certainly can relate as I am another one in this awesome forum who is a member of the “OTH Club” as I think it was Dave who named it. Correct me if I’m wrong, someone. Your lyrics have some good advice and great attitude for getting older. Really enjoyed it.

Thanks Pam

I still consider myself Under rather the Over. Its an mind game or attitude to life ie being as old/young as you feel. And I still try to think of myself as the latter, despite other physical attributes telling me otherwise.

I'm still with Mr Anderson and Co.  8)
