Someone who probably isn't remembered, except maybe by the few horror/zombie movie fans here;

Actor Joseph "Joe" Pilato passed away on the 24th, died peacefully in his sleep barely a week after turning 70  :'(

Ranking Roger RIP

Despite my heavy rock credentials, I loved Two Tones music and Roger was a huge influence on those early bands. RIP

Stitch

I don't know how many years you knew Jeff but I'm privileged to have shared 7 1/2 minutes of his life. I know it's a cliched saying across the pond but I'm truly sorry for your loss. Such vibrant energy and enthusiasm in that clip, you can see Jeff is truly immersed body and soul in that session. And what a fusion .....

California is dreaming along the watch tower on the stairway to heaven.  And that sounds a pretty good place to be, what a genius track mix.

RIP Jeff.

Stitch I'll raise a glass to your dear friend but in the mean time :

Again big condolences, keep him close to your heart.

Boon Gould, guitarist and one of the founding members of Level 42, died a few days ago at the age of 64. Probably over shadowed by Mark King, I thought his playing was very good, particularly on their live albums.

Been a tough week for my childhood.
First Doris Day then Peggy Lipton (Mod Squad) and now Tim Conway.
The world is a sadder place with these losses. At least they all had full
lives and made the world better just by being here.

Leon Redbone RIP

I would have thought he was older than 69. Leon had an interesting voice and delivery.

His voice was simultaneously otherworldly, and like a hot summer night. So much character.
