RIP Dean Ford of Marmalade & thank you for the music.  Reflections of my life has to be one of the most moving songs ever written.

I didn't know Jim Dunlop was Scottish or, had lived in my country of Canada at one time. I have a lot of his picks. RIP

Just seen this on the news, wasn’t a big fan of the Monkees but nevertheless a sad loss 😢
My singing sucks so I’m learning Guitar and Ukulele, it’s fun 🌟

Yeah, I did a bit of a deep dive into the Monkees catalog today. There are some real gems in there. RIP

I wouldn't say a childhood hero but the Monkees were part of my early teens, I'm sure those old TV shows would seem really cheesy these days but they banged out some great tunes that survive to this day.
RIP Pete.

Not a lot on TV in Beirut in 1972, but this 8 year old would religiously kneel in front of our black and white altar with a Philips cassette recorder and microphone, recording the songs when they were performed.
Now that I've made Merseyside my home, it seems appropriate to leave this here  ;)

RIP Pete.

MeTV is running old Monkees episodes featuring Peter on Sunday (February 24) starting at 5PM EST.  I think this channel is only available in the US, both OTA and on cable systems.  They have a station finder on their website, but I'm too new to post links.   :-\

Here's my Monkees song for Peter. I was an adolescent when these guys broke on the scene.  I never missed an episode of their zany TV show. They really did have some nice songs in their catalog. I think this one is very appropriate now.

Anyone who has played in a band will be in mourning.
I just found out Ross Lowell the inventer of Gaffer tape (Gaff Tape)
has passed away at 92.
If you have ever had to tape patch/electrical cords down you will know what
I'm talking about.
If you think duct tape can fix anything you've never used Gaff tape.
