Guitar Challenge 0023 - Simple I IV V progression in A minor
« on: October 10, 2021, 08:17:44 am »
After being inspired by Gordon, I created a simple Backing Track to join in the improv fun and posted up my A Minor Noodle. Clint suggested I post up the BTs for others to play over, so here it is.

I composed the BT to make it as obvious as possible to hear the chord changes to be able to target chord tones, to play over using the first A minor pentatonic shape we learn, and at a slow tempo to give one time.

Hope you enjoy and look forward to hearing other who take up the challenge.

For those who appreciate details, who like me may not be ready to simply transcribe:

BPM = 75
Progression =

a a a a d d d d
a a a a d d d d
e e d d a a a a
d d d d e e a a
(All minor chords)

This is a good one DP! Not sure when I will get it, so many things happening right now. Hopefully someone will come along and play some lead over it.

Thanks Clint. You never know, at least it is available should others come along wanting to begin to explore lead play and are looking for something really simple.
