Strum buddy

Look for someone that is just starting like me to keep each other motivated. Probably an older person, youngsters learn so much fast and would leave me behind.

Haven't found anyone local so I figure I'd try on here. I have electric and just got an acoustic (recommendation of lady I found for instructor). First attempts and those strings are way too high, probably good for building up some dexterity (I try to find silver lining in each cloud). Predominately a positive, optimistic attitude, don't want to become discouraged. Figured a strum buddy (or gal), I'm not concerned about gender, just someone else that can compare notes with, perhaps exchange MP3s with at attempts to play.....in a month or two if I sit down and get to it....need that swift kick in the rear on a regular basis until I get to the "this is fun" stage.

Anyone interested? I'm filled with sarcasm, odd sense of humor, used to be severe introvert, now very extroverted....and as you can tell, long winded.

Tim
