Guitar tuning
« on: August 15, 2018, 05:01:36 am »
I bought the guitar, the 4 string is not accurate, the 4 string empty string and the 4 string 5 product are one sound, for example, the 4 string 5 product is the 4D 4 string empty string is 5A, the tuner has no problem mode, the other strings are Yes, is there a solution?

Hi Annaa
I am not sure if I understand the question but try this.
The 4th string ( 3rd Down  from thickest string) should be D when empty (not being fretted). If it is A then you need to tighten the string more with the tuning pegs.
That will make the 4th string D when empty and 4th string 5 product (fret) G.

You need a guitar tuner, it is normal for a new guitar to not be in tune - they also vary with temperature so having a tuner is very important.
There are some free Smartphone apps that work ok, one by Fender is pretty good but the best type are the clip on ones as they sense the vibration in the guitars body rather than sound so are not affected by ambient noise.
Here are some options
