Creating a backing track in GarageBand
« on: May 29, 2018, 05:05:26 pm »
Hi all, I would like to create a very simple drum track in 4/4, with a 4 count lead in, with with kick on every 1 count, snare on 1-4 and high hat on every 8th.

I’m sure it’s not musically correct, but I think it would help me get my strumming timing down with less monotony than a metronome.

But I’m at a loss as to how to create it in GarageBand. I have Mac OS and iOS versions. I also have GuitarPro 6 if is easer to write it there and then export to Garageband.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

You can do exactly that with "Hydrogen Drum Machine".
