on playing the high e string and the b string you mentioned using index and middle finger.
i usually play the high e and b string with ring and middle finger.
should i train and stick with using the index and middle?

Either way is fine. You can also use just the index finger to brush the e and B strings with up strokes.
If you already play these strings with the ring and middle try the index and middle and use which ever
way feels better for your style of playing.
The blues is a very free flowing style and breaks almost every rule so don't worry to much about playing
things different.

With blues if it sounds good it doesn’t matter at all how you get there, that’s the nice thing about Blues the rules are minimal and there to be broken if it sounds good!
My singing sucks so I’m learning Guitar and Ukulele, it’s fun 🌟
