Thanks David! I've been painting all day. I should have stopped hours ago, but I didn't. Whether this is good or bad doesn't matter. I learned a lot today. My homemade paint works, and can take alot of abuse. Haha.

Ahh wow that reminds me of my ex wife so much.   Not the painting, the line you used,  'it works and can take a lot of abuse'

Lynn I'm sorry I shouldn't use your thread as a testing ground for my stand up.  Yeah I dabble.   Hey,  seriously I have a rose tattoo,  two roses,  very similar to those.  They look great!

Poor her.  Haha. I'm sure she misses you.

I may have missed my calling as a tattoo artist. I have a million ideas. An entire body done up in one solid color. It would be laborious and painful for everyone, especially if it was white. Yeah.

I have to stop quoting all the time.   I think @close2u spends all day following me around editing my posts taking out quotes.    I  got the message Richard.   And I'm joking,  I saw the post you edited.

Yeah white is cool but lots of work I think.   I have some tatts,  even a guitar one I designed myself.    idiot.

Yeah she misses me,  they always do.

If it's not fingerpicking then I don't want to watch it.
Seriously It's very cool Lynn.

Thanks again for the performance of Janee, Lynn.

The roses are beautiful indeed.

And to continue the hijack ... here is the latest from my brother

I'm so glad he's doing this, since I've not yet had the opportunity to visit him, I am seeing his garden and now workshop for the first time in these videos.

And, Alex, thanks for the comments.  I suggest you share some of your guitar links with him.  He is a great lover of music and I know he'll appreciate your fingerstyle arrangements.

Hey Lynn thanks so much for posting that awesome original gem for us.   Im not being nice.  You are a story teller.   I've known you for five minutes and I know that.   Through art, music, or just posts,  it's cool.

David, really cool video of your brother's. I'm envious of his studio (although mine is quite satisfactory, it's not in Brazil ). His sculptures looks great, and remind me a little if Calder. There's a sketch he did of Josephine Baker in MOMA that your brother might like if he hasn't seen it.

I like the rusty background a lot. I think it's perfect, so maybe he doesn't need to paint it black. There's an organic quality to the rust that's a beautiful contrast to his wire.

I like the bald heads. I can see hair is troublesome. He could take a page from Degas, and use a wig. Degas didn't use wigs, but real tutus on his ballerina sculptures. That also makes me think he should put a tutu on David. Haha.

Really impressive work and I can see your love of learning and creating is genetic. I look forward to next week's.

Keith, notice the mosaics.

Thanks Lynn.  Took the easy route ... copy and paste of your comments to my brother.  David in a tutu ... there's a thought ... would have to be a diaphanous tutu  HA HA

Hi David,

I don't think I could work in your brother's studio, looks way too hot in Brazil for me. His walk through was impressive though and I've noted down his advice on doing many studies. I liked the bald headed figures, no need for hair or a wig. Does your brother still do mosaics? I'd like to have seen more of them but if he's fulfilling commissions he may not have time.

Looking forward to episode 3.

Keith
