Here's my latest, which is the third painting done on the stretcher bars I found in the trash. I'll put in a picture of it on the wall for scale. The series is called Kismet, but I'm not sure they look like a series. I guess they are related because they were found. This one is called Elizabeth. Oil on canvas.

Your work is always so striking, Lynn, evocative.

The room looks looks warm and welcoming.

I have to agree with David, love your work Lynn and this is quite striking.   When you see the art in it's setting like the second picture it really paints a bigger picture, (so to speak pardon the pun)    By that i mean, i understand the art when i see like this.   Thats a beautiful painting with a great colour pallet?  is that what they call it.   Anyway, regardless it looks awesome.

Thanks for saying that, David. Striking is an excellent word. We're finally comfortable in that room. Having no housemates has definitely been positive.

Thanks Alex. Yes, you used that word correctly. I tend to stay within a limited pallet, and this one got more colorful as I got into it. It might be that start of something new. I'm glad you like it!

Keith finished this large acrylic a while ago. I've been mulling it over before posting. It's an intense one, called The Harbingers of Justice.

Wild painting, Keith. Looks like the end of the world.

Thanks for sharing Lynn.

That certainly is intense, Keith. Sky is stunning and the figures on the rampart ever so menacing.

Thanks David, much appreciated. The figures are not really menacing, unless of course you're the one being judged for past sins.

Fair enough, though I guess all sin ... including judges ....

Hey Lynn and Keith.  Keith I love that painting on this page, it reminds me of a photo on a canvas i just had done.   If you're interested, I recently moved into a new place and actually bought some very nice paintings before i even bought new furniture.    I'm lucky to have two very good , close mates who are both artists here in my home town. I've wanted pieces from both of them for years and finally now I do.  If you would like to see them, let me know and i'll put them in a post here.  I also had a photo of the breakwall taken in my home town which is where the ocean and river system combine and two long rock walls sit.   (this is the picture that your painting reminds me of Keith)  anywho, cool.
