Hi,

I took an edjumikayted guess by viewing through the 'fine' detail that the 'mighty fine' artist placed on the Anisocoria  ;) ;D

Kind regards,
Rufus

Hi Rufus,

have you got the song yet. Apologies if I'm mistaken but if you come from Liverpool you should be able to get it.

Hi,

Sadly, I don't know the song alluded towards, Keith.

I'm not a scouser, Keith.
For a start - I would never be able to get all four wheels off a car that stopped at traffic lights quick enough. ;) ;D

Kind regards,
Rufus

No worries Rufus. I'll give DavidP, and any others, the opportunity to have a guess before revealing the answer. I thought it was fairly easy, easier than Voodoo Chile anyway, but then I painted it. I found out from Lynn that it hadn't been released as a single in the US.

I've friends in Liverpool and drove there a few times and returned with my wheels in tact :)

I've never seen Hull City win there though. Its a great City and we get a warm welcome every time we go.

Thanks Keith

Will have another think later.

Personally, I found Voodoo Chile was fairly easy to figure out.  Guess if you pick a suitable association from the clues then it is "easy" and if you don't "impossible".  And lateral associative thinking is in itself a skill that takes practice.

Hi,

Out of curiosity, does the song appear on the 1973 album, side 2, track 8 of 'Pin Ups' by any chance?

Kind regards,
Rufus

Congratulations Rufus. Track 8 on the cd, track 2 side 2 on the LP. With your long blonde hair and your eyes of blue the only thing I ever got from you was

Hi guys,

Here's my latest landscape from Ireland.

Still haven't got a title. Open to suggestions.

Thanks!

Lovely Lynn.  No title springs to mind.  So tell us the story behind this one and maybe something will ...

Hi,

Is the painting a part view of 'Slieve Gullion' by any chance, Lynn?
As usual - stunning piece.
You can almost hear the wind in the grass.

Hi David,

Thanks for asking that, and making me think. We were in Ireland celebrating my friend's life after a long and grueling, but thankfully successful battle with cancer. On the surface, it's a painting of a mountain and a pole. Under the surface, I think it's about everything we'd been through, and seeing that glimmer of hope return in the way the dark clouds are parting to reveal the blue sky, as hope begins to return to life.

Or it's just about a mountain and a pole. Haha.

I'm still not sure what to call it.

Rufus,

We were on the road for weeks. I can't tell you half the places we went to. It's all a blur, as was the picture I based this on. I took it out of the window of the backseat of the car as we drove by. Luckily, there's an info button on my photo app that tells me it was taken in County Galway, probably close to County Mayo. The mountain in the photograph is more of a hill, and the pole isn't leaning as much. Artistic license.

Thank you both for commenting. Let me know if you have an idea for a title. I'm thinking along the lines of A Glimmer of Hope, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for sharing, Lynn.

Looking and hearing the story, what popped into my mind was "The Other Side of the Mountain" ...

Hi everyone,

I've been talking about this since I joined the forum, and it's finally happening. Our LP is at the press, being cut at the end of January. Wow.

Here is the front cover. Artwork and design by Keith. I am beyond excited.

Yes, it's that Holborn. Keith painted it last year. It was one of his first paintings.

He did so much work on this, not just with the cover, but with the music, the concept, the writing, and the production. It was so much work, but it didn't feel like it to me. It was just fun and easy. That his name is smaller than ours on the cover is how he wanted it. This is as much his as ours.
