and to throw in another name that I think offer great value is Joyo. They have some excellent pedal amp solutions and a bunch of the normal pedals for not a lot of cash.
Epiphone Masterbilt DR500MCE, Yamaha Pacifica 112V, HB Tele, Fender Mustang 1v2, Katana 100, Trio Plus, Boss GT1

you should check indeed.

For my heavy metal band, I even use a Joyo Bantamp and a 2x12 cabinet
it's a small 20w solid state amp with a single 12ax7 tube in the preamp.
sounds great actually!

Agreed. Joyo has some good high value gear. Mooer as well, I really like the Hustle Drive (OCD clone-ish).

I have the Joyo American Sound, and have only scratched the surface with it though.
Pros: Great for Fender tweed type tones. Nice clean to slight crunchy tone. Works well in the FX loop of a tube amp.
Cons: Too noisy on my rigs with drive or voice settings past 2:00. Not that great to my ears with high gain external to the pedal.

Here's my only recording with it (so far) with my tele through the Fender Mustang:

Section 1: Clean tweed tone
Section 2: Clean tweed with Donner Dynamic Wah
Section 3: Clean tweed plus Donner Alpha Force Higain

Which one do you have? I like everything I've heard about these little Bantamps. I'm intrigued by the FireBrand, which is voiced off of the ENGL FireBall.

Got it, cool beans. Voiced to a Mesa/Boogie. Yeah, I dig the "Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier" emulation setting on my Fender Mustang amp. Power chord heaven. :)

Thanks very much for all suggestions and comments!

I’ll check out the ‘clone project’. Many thanks, CT.
