Guitar Pro 6: MIDI + tempo markings
« on: October 02, 2017, 01:07:18 pm »
Every time I import a classical .mid piece into GP6 it calls certain tracks like the viola and cello their original names but gives them a default treble clef, which cuts out most of their part leaving only the highest notes.

This is obviously extremely annoying, and does not happen in other software like Sibelius and Finale; how do I alter this in the settings to ensure instruments of a different clef retain their original clef during the import?

Also, is there a function to either ignore the various tempo markings that are included with the import and have an overall master tempo (with the possibility to go back to the original tempo(s)) or delete every marking at the same time rather than having to go through deleting each one manually?
