Hi there ;)
Nice work all around.Great progress compared to previos mixes :) Say Hello from Moscow mix consultant to NaNa and Sarah as the did a really great job :)
Keep your sound editing skills growing
And keep on rocking ;)

Hi Roman,
Will do on saying hi to the Girls. NaNa always wants to know what everyone thought. You guys, yourself, Scooter and others on here have been a great help. I have a ways to go but I would be nowhere near here without the help all have given. Maybe one day we will do an original together...

Ta and rock on!

LBro,

Really great job on this and worth all of the time and effort you put in.  Nice melody , uplifting with a really nice vocal from you 8) and of course the girls held up their end with those lovely voices  :)  I know it meant a lot to you to sing this with your girls and man you sure did a great job!  Congrats on sticking with it and taking it to completion.  Well done  :)

Thanks Sweed for the listen, reply and kind words of encouragement! It means a lot and gives encouragement to practice more and try for a better rendition next song/time around.

I had been toying with the idea of redoing this for years. Finally got around to it. I think it came out fairly decent. If you heard the original I think you could instantly see/hear we came a long ways from almost 6-7 years ago. Even the style or flavor differences between the 2 is pretty amazing.

Take care and keep rocking,
LB

Hey Bro

Yep I finally got back here and took a listen. Really good original track well put together. Vocals were good man and complimented by NaNa and Sarah, so get some more singing down man !! Jeez if this old git can, so can you. Overall very refreshing and a nice supporting vid.

Ok back to some Trowering for me soon !

Hi LB,

Very nice write. So joyful.
I thought your vocals were good and worked well with your daughters'.
Thought it had a good arrangement with solid playing.
Love that you are writing your own stuff.
The video made me long for the coast - get some sea air.

Hi Toby,
Thanks for the listen & comments! Hum, I wonder just how old of a "git" you might be. If I ever get over that way the younger one buys the beer! ;D

So what Trower song are you working on dude? I sure hope we get to hear it! Do you have all of his Full Tone pedals? You probably saw this but have you seen the YT Vid on how he gets his tones and sound?

You take care and can't wait to hear you rock it out!

Hi Marcus,
Glad you stopped by and gave this a spin! I am working on the singing stuff. Hard to find a male vocalist for my humble original offerings, so I volunteered.

The horns are me blowing out of an old rusty trumpet inside a large garbage can!  ;) - Uh, well actually I am pulling your leg. Those are Kontact Session Horns Pro and they set me back a bit but I do like them. I hope to get better with them as they can do more than what you hear in this song. I will trade you the horns for some good guitar tones!  8)

Hey, when you going to put something together and post it? Miss your great contributions and guitar work!

Ok, you take care and when time is tight - Rock on!

Ah,
Thanks for cruising with us!

You scored major on your impression of a vacation song. It really was not planned that way but it ended up that way. You see just before NaNa (female lead singer) came to track her vocals we went on a cruise and well, Sailed The Deep Blue Sea. So you could definitely say this has a vacation air to it!  8) I put on my shades there as unlike rainy Seattle it was very sunny and nice in California during our cruise!

Sure like your posts, so keep up the good work there and take care,
LB

Hi Diggs,
Been a while and thanks for the test drive and comments!

You know I wonder what would happen if our 2 styles of writing were to collide? Might make for one interesting, twisted song or on the other hand a complete mess!  :o

On here I think you and I writing our "own stuff" is about the longest running of such a gig??? Maybe if Pat were still around she could take that crown and off hand I can't think of anyone else right now.

You really should get down to the coast. Pretty soothing! Perfect for when you are beating your head against the wall at work! Hopefully you will get some time here soon to do so, if not summer is coming on and you will!

Take care and looking forward to your next offering(s)!

LB think you'd be buying but only by a couple of years from what I recall.

Been working on Bridge Of Sighs but having to impro some of the fills, as the original is above my pay grade - but another challenge to work towards. So not a full on cover more my take. I've got a Tower effect from Fender Fuse that sound close but will need tweaking when I mix but yes RT is still rocking away. Still in two minds if I should add the lyrics as well but they're pretty straight forward.

Family goes back to UK Sunday so will get back on board next week. Was this thinking the other day, with the White Rock action maybe I should have a go at Day Of The Eagle

Man, between the Competition threads, the Music Critique section and the AVoYP threads there are just too many songs for me to listen to.
But I finally managed to listen to yours. The post title with you singing (finally) probably got me curious enough to put in on top of the list.
I see no excuse from now on for you not to sing along with your postings. Granted, some practicing on this particular instrument is in order. Like myself. But I liked the song, and I liked the family project a lot. I can't wait until my daughter is big enough to sing along like yours. Good work indeed and keep'em coming!

Well Toby it is pretty incredible your taking on Trower! My hat is off to you. But darn if your pay grade is too low you know what to do don't you? You simply look for a better position that pays more dude! Yeah Day of the Eagle is good. But Bridge of Sighs might be better. I will take either from you so get cranking on you end and post em both... Ha, Ha, I am greedy I guess.

Thanks for filling in the blanks on what your up to!

Rock it down so hard you blow out the windows! Then put in plexiglass!
