Neil Young's Mr Soul, the unplugged version from the 90s. Great tune, I really don't know how he manages to make great songs sound even better on acoustic ... Anyway, hope you enjoy it and if anyone wants to play it I'd be glad to share the chords I play !

Great playing, great singing, and well recorded!  I'm a huge Neil Young fan, so maybe I'm biased, but definitely my favorite so far this month.

I'm trying to put together an entry, but I'm going to have to work pretty hard to come up with something better than yours.

Please record and post some more.

Thanks man I appreciate it ! I'm not sure about the policy on sharing tabs/chord sheets/Lyrics on this forum but I'll check and get back to you if I find anything. Btw if anyone has an answer, please share !

All I can say for now is that this version is in double drop D (like a lot of NY songs), which means that you have to tune both your E strings one step lower, that way you get a big D power chord. I actually got the chords from watching the live version from the 90's

Very well done. Steady strumming, great guitar tone and nice vocals. Would you please share your recording gear? Which kind of guitar, mic, amplification if any, audio interface etc..That will probably be usefull for the audience

The guitar I used is a Tennessee J200 (kind of a budget replica of a Gibson J200).
I recorded it with a pair of cardioid Oktava Mk012 in XY (small diaphragm condenser mics borrowed from a friend). The vocals were recorded with a Audio Technica AT 2035 (large diaphragm condenser). The three mics were going into my Audient ID22 audio interface and then into ProTools. I had to record the guitar and the vocals seperately due to the number of inputs on the Audient although I usually prefer to play and sing at the same time
