Chords for While My Guitar Gently Weeps please
« on: March 18, 2017, 04:59:35 am »
This song is my next project. Justin hasn't done a video on it. I've searched through all the posts on this song on this forum and watched lots of video versions. I'm a beginner, so want to know if this might be a good start to learning this song? https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/t/the_beatles/while_my_guitar_gently_weeps_crd.htm  I can play all the chords in this version. I might have to use a capo as I think it's a bit low for me but that's no biggie.

If there are better versions out there I'd love to know about them.

Thankyou.

I'm not sure that F#m7b5 sounds right.

Have you tried this

That's much better Drubbing. Nice, clear shots and chord charts. Thankyou.  I wondered about the F#m7b5 chord. It didn't sound good to me. Good vibe to you.

Bytron what a gem you are, you are so generous. I can't thank you enough. You make it all so clear and even better it seems possible for me. Really blown away by your gesture. Good vibe to you  and a cyber hug  :-*  If I ever get to play and sing it to my satisfaction I'll send you a recording, but don't hold your breath waiting for that  ;)

Wow hope someone does something as nice as this for you today.  :)

No prob!!! You comment on my stuff really well so I didn't mind helping. Sorry I didn't explain the whole song, I haven't played it in a while. The only thing you gotta do is get the rhythm right. Oh and use your pinky and middle finger when your walking down in the beginning.
