Thoughts on  Misha Mansoor Pro Series?
« on: March 10, 2017, 04:33:57 pm »
His new Jackson Pro Series has a lot of features that I like such as ebony fretboard, 5 way switch, coil tap/switch,  etc.  However, it's a basswood body made in Indonesia. I haven't played Jackson's and hoping for some feedback from you guys. I like really low action but that's always dependent on fit and finish. Upper mid-range guitar or just average?

I'd say average, but i'm very biased when it comes to basswood, never liked the stuff.

Dan, I was thinking its probably average too. Aside from the basswood body -fit, finish, action also average??

The one i tried had a decent finish, action was bad out of the box, but that's not surprising after shipping, i did a setup, seemed good.
Not sure how to objectively judge fit though, i'm fairly tall, so most guitars are fine for me.
