Aw man, no contest for 6 whole months for me :(

Shall we do an informal one (s) and just vote on each other to decide the victor? Would JG endorse that if we wanted to self run something in the forums?

John, remind me what was special about the Contests for you? Was it about an externally imposed deadline? Close pointed you to guitar challenge area and you can record and post in AVOYP area.

The deadline and the fact it is performance not just guitar skills.

Plus the contest... Not for the winning but us all working to the same timescale and seeing the entries appear.

I'll take a look at that section though. Thanks

That'll teach me for being a smart-a*se!
I presumed this was a typo and you meant all the entrants in the two top collabs, not actually everyone.

You're ruining my dystopian Christmas  >:( :) ;) ;D
Yep I'd thought the same. I'd normally say great minds think alike.....

Update on prize allocation.

Our seventh place collaboration group have now selected their prizes as follows:

embishop - Theory Course six-month subscription
kristaR - Beginner Song App annual pass

Now that each and every entrant has selected a prize I will collate all the details and hopefully these can be awarded very quickly.
Physical items will require international P&P etc.
I have names and addresses etc for couriers. Justin is off to NAMM shortly so I'm unsure when he will be able to dispatch.  @ Katja ... I will post your iTrack Pocket in the next few days.
Skype sessions will be by personal arrangements at suitable times.
Other prizes should be able to be transferred electronically.

Once again - congratulations and well done to all. I hope you all enjoyed the collaborative process and you can build on it and delight us with more in the near future.
Richard

...

Justin has confirmed that his many commitments and preparing to fly to NAMM in the next day or so means that he will only be able to turn his attention to this when he returns from USA.

Katja - you're the exception. The iTrack was my contribution to the prize fund and I posted it yesterday.
